The GEM Remotes KRLS Rotary Limit Switch is designed for boat lift systems that use a rotary drive pipe configuration. The switch attaches to the drive pipe and monitors its rotation to control preset upper and lower stopping positions.

When used with a GEM Remotes Auto-Stop control, the KRLS allows the boat lift to automatically stop at the desired upper or lower position.

Important: The KRLS must be used with a GEM Remotes model ending in “A.” The “A” indicates that the control has Auto-Stop capability.

How the KFLS Works

A GEM Remotes Auto-Stop system allows the boat lift to raise or lower to a preset position at the touch of a button.

Auto-Stop requires the appropriate limit switch for the type of boat lift drive system being used. The KRLS is the rotary limit switch option and monitors rotation of the drive pipe to establish the stopping positions.

Without Auto-Stop functionality, the control button must be held while raising or lowering the lift.
