The GEM Remotes KFLS Flat Plate Limit Switch adds Auto-Stop functionality to flat-plate boat hoists when used with a supported GEM Remotes Auto-Stop control system.

The KFLS monitors gear rotation and allows the lift to automatically stop at preset upper and lower positions. It mounts to the front of the flat-plate hoist and includes the mounting bracket needed for installation.

How the KFLS Works

As the boat lift operates, the KFLS tracks rotation of the hoist gear. Adjustable limit nuts inside the switch move toward the Up or Down microswitch as the lift travels.

The upper and lower limits are set at the desired lift positions. When a limit is reached, the KFLS signals the Auto-Stop control to stop movement in that direction.
