The GEM Remotes KALS A-Drive Limit Switch is designed to add upper and lower Auto-Stop positions to supported A-Drive boat lift hoists when used with a GEM Remotes Auto-Stop control system.

Once properly installed and adjusted, the KALS allows the lift to automatically stop at preset upper and lower positions for more convenient boat lift operation.

Important: The KALS requires an A-Drive setup with the proper limit-switch-ready drive shaft and a supported GEM Remotes Auto-Stop control.

Installation

Remove the dust cover from the front of the A-Drive direct-drive hoist to expose the end of the drive shaft.

A limit-switch-ready drive shaft will have a tab designed to engage the KALS limit switch. The KALS mounting bracket installs using the existing hoist bolts.

Important: A limit-switch-ready drive shaft is required for installation.
