Maintained Switch Operation
A maintained switch stays in the selected UP or DOWN position until the handle is manually returned to OFF. This differs from a momentary switch, which automatically returns to OFF when released.
TENV Motor Protection
TENV (Totally Enclosed Non-Ventilated) construction helps protect the motor’s internal components from moisture, dirt, insects, and other contaminants commonly found around boat lifts.
Unlike an open motor, the enclosed design does not rely on outside air flowing through the motor for cooling, making it well suited for marine and waterfront environments.

Choosing the Right Motor
For a replacement, match your existing motor's horsepower, voltage, mounting style, and shaft size.
The 1 HP Heavy Duty model is different from the standard 1 HP motor and has a higher 1.25 service factor.
Increasing motor horsepower does not automatically increase boat lift capacity. The gear plate and complete lift system must be rated for the intended load.
