The Aqua Marine Supply 56 Frame Painted Boat Lift Motor is designed for belt-driven flat-plate boat lift hoists. Its rigid-base configuration mounts directly to compatible gear plates and uses a motor pulley and drive belt to operate the hoist.

Available in 3/4 HP and 1 HP, these AC single-phase reversible motors feature a painted steel housing, TENV enclosure, and 5/8" keyed shaft. Aqua Marine Supply specifies both motors for use with Flat Plate and EBD hoist systems.

Shaft key is included.

What Does TENV Mean?

The correct motor depends on the gear plate, lift configuration, number of motors, and rated capacity of the boat lift.

If you're replacing an existing motor, start by checking the motor nameplate and matching the horsepower, voltage, frame/mounting configuration, and shaft size.

Do not increase motor horsepower solely to increase the lifting capacity of the boat lift. The hoist, structure, cables, electrical system, and other components must all be rated for the intended load.

TENV stands for Totally Enclosed Non-Ventilated. The enclosed construction helps protect the motor's internal components from the surrounding environment without relying on outside air flowing through the motor for cooling.

This type of enclosure is well suited for boat lift applications where motors are regularly exposed to humid waterfront conditions.
