The cable weight is a 4-inch ball-shaped lead piece with a split design. It’s crafted to fit cables up to 5/16 inches in size using a clamp with a shallow groove. Securing it are two bolts, each measuring 5/16 inches by 1 1/2 inches, and they have a hot-dipped galvanized finish. While the large center hole isn’t for the cable, it’s meant for attaching the weight to aluminum beams or strap hangers. Additionally, the weight includes cable grooves designed for clamping to both sides of the cable.
